The Northern Illinois Offshore Club, Inc. invites to you to become Business Member. The NIOC
business membership program offers multiple levels of donation: Gold, Silver, Bronze and Copper Membership.
It is our intent to offer you the most benefit for your individual sponsor needs.
The Northern Illinois Offshore
Club, Inc. functions on the funds from our Business Membership and the funds obtained from our general membership
dues. We are a non-for-profit club and use the funds obtained from these valuable resources, to promote safe
power boating through the hosting of social and charitable water and land events. Our main objective is to
encourage our membership to increase their knowledge of and skill in boating through instruction,
self-education and participation in marine sports activities. We have a very diverse membership. Our
members interests may include the weekend pleasure boater that spends his time boating the Chain O’ Lakes
waterway; a “big pond” boater that spend his free time launching from his home base of Winthrop Harbor
and heading north for a night stay in Milwaukee; a “Poker Runner” that follows the poker run circuit from
Oshkosh Wisconsin to Key West Florida; or the “LOTO” boater that has a second home in the Lake of the
Ozarks and drives down to the fingers every free chance he/she gets. From attorney’s to carpenters, our
membership is as diverse as the waterways, but it is the common love and appreciation of power boating
that brings us all together. It is through your business sponsorship donation that you will help The
Northern Illinois Offshore Club, Inc. bring together these persons of good character in hopes that we
may continue to grow and evolve as power boating club.

In February 2007, our club set up our web site using Club Express, a powerful Internet tool for managing clubs
and associations. Club Express provides NIOC the means to create a comprehensive club event calendar
with registration, online discussion forums, news, email tools as well as automated the membership renewal
process for our club. It also allows direct access to our business members website links. With a quick click
of the mouse we provide our members with timely information on our events and activities, and provide our
valuable business sponsors direct communication with NIOC members on the services they offer.
